A Little Bit About Mrs. Hoffa

My name is Mrs. Hoffa and I am the school counselor here in the Tigerton school district at the middle and the high school levels.  This is my fourth year as a school counselor.  I am grateful to be a part of such a fantastic school district and a supportive community.  I graduated with my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2015 with a bachelors degree in Family Studies and from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2019 with a masters degree in professional school counseling.

I live in Marion, WI with my husband.  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and I also find happiness in other activities such as supporting our local sports teams, going to Brewer games, and working out at my local gym.

My passion is working with kids as an educator and a mentor in order for them to be successful in the future.  My ultimate goal is to help students be successful in the school setting in whatever way I can and to make the experience when I work with them positive.  I enjoy all aspects of being a school counselor.  In particular, I am grateful to be able to support students in crisis situations and help them navigate through a traumatic situation.  Specifically, instances where children are dealing with trauma and instances that children that are dealing with grief in their lives I enjoy navigating.  My hope is that I can be of support not only to the students in Tigerton, but to their families as well.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me or email me.  I look forward to working with the students and families of the Tigerton School District.

"There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind.  The second way is to be kind.  The third way is to be kind."-Fred Rogers
